sunny Friday

It's gorgeous and sunny today, but supposed to rain all weekend. However! It's no matter, what with Date-Night later, and movies this weekend, and lots o' fun on the way!! I am so glad for a couple days away from the office.

(More talk is going round today that the site will survive regardless of the paper's demise, whatever that might be... And albeit just rumor, it still makes me feel tentatively optimistic...)

Poor Tom, his boss just announced they will have to take six days off a month for at least the next two months. We'll be fine, and I tried to assure him -- but it just makes him feel so bad. (And his asshole boss sent this by e-mail too.)

So we are going out to a expensive restaurant tonight to drown our sorrows in too much food!! YAY!
