Well, it's Friday again!! Yay. Just got notified of an 11 a.m. meeting "To discuss the future of _____.com"... Oh holy crap. I am nervous. Could it be good news instead of bad...? Or will they keep repeating the "We don't know anything more than you" mantra... That is so annoying.
I can't wait for Tom to call. He has called around this time every morning (and then called again in the afternoon). Oh the sweets!! I am like an empty bobblehead, I miss him so.
Otherwise, I can tell my father is enjoying his little vacation, and has been helping me a lot with the dog. (I think he's also secretly enjoying some time away from my mom!) We play Scrabble at night and I cook. And this weekend will be nice & sunny; we're taking a drive up the coast.
But: This is all causing me to feel both adolescent and spinster-like at the same time... I can't wait for Wednesday. Time is crawling.

"Both adolescent and spinster-like at the same time" -- that's EXACTLY what it's like to spend extended amounts of time with your parents! I know the feeling. Sigh. How did the meeting go??
