distractions
This is going to sound really stupid.
I am having trouble having sex lately... I'm not having trouble doing it but enjoying it... Whenever we want to do it we have to put Guapo in his carrier because he gets so cuddly whenever we are showing affection to each other.
So, even though Tom & I can do it while he's in the carrier I still can't stop thinking about him all closed up in there looking at us and wondering why we are neglecting him and it's hard for me to enjoy what I'm doing... and even when I do he starts whining if I make noises.
So we tried to put him in the bedroom and do it in the other room on the couch -- but he still makes noises when I do.
It is very distracting.

Umm, what if you like turn on the TV for him or something? Maybe he won't whine or maybe you won't be able to hear him. You could put on some music or something.... Sorry if I'm totally not helping at all..
ugh. my dog is a pain, too. he humps his bed next to my bed. it's so weird- thankfully my boyfriend got over it after the first or second time. it's easier to just let him in to hump his bed bc otherwise he barks and cries and acts crazy, which is super distracting. i don't really have any tips, just commiserating!
My cat likes to watch too. We joke that he has a camera. It is annoying but pets are attached to you and just like people, they get jealous. Especially when you are doing something they can't participate in. I agree with Miranda. Try music or the TV. One of my friends puts her dog in the cage and covers it with a blanket!
