pissed off
Can I just complain a little bit. There is this new guy at work (yet another guy of the gazillion guys in our department, along with moi) and he is pissing me off. He keeps saying things like "women are better at shopping than men" and asking "how did you get into this field there aren't many women in it" and said something once like "all women LOVE shopping don't they?"
And what pissed me off EVEN MORE: I tried to explain to Tom why this is so maddening (and, innappropriate, right?) -- and do you know what he said, he said: "oh sounds like you are flirting with each other" but half-joking, like he was trying to pretend he was joking but really not inside.
FUuuuuuuucccccccccccccck. Cannot even describe how much is wrong with both these comments. And how angry it makes me.

What a load. Guys do not understand how we as women get treated like 5 year olds. We are just girls. Kind of seems to me like this guy might not know what to say to you, like your a scary smart girl! You need to come up with some really great smart ass responses. Why does he talk about shopping so much?? That seems strange.

What a maroon. Next time he says something, say, "You sure know a lot about women!" and roll your eyes as you walk away. It is not your job to educate this clod. Xo
I think the next time he says something stupid about what he thinks women are good at you should reply, "Women are also really good at grinding testes into dust. Don't you think?" He'll likely keep his comments away from you then!
Men are dumb. Maybe he likes to shop and wants some validation. But he sounds like an ass. Good luck!
