I can't believe what a long week it has been. Both Guapo and Tom are home now... Guapo is ok, they think it must have just been a bug or something, they ran lots of tests and he's on a special diet for a few days with some medicine...
Tom is upset because I was so upset over the phone while he was away but what can I do. I have these terrible anxiety attacks sometimes (and I care so much about that dog).
We are all going to take it easy this weekend, though Tom might have to go into work a little bit. I won't be taking Guapo to the park till maybe Sunday, he's not supposed to be over-exerted.
Well, that's that....
In other news, I ended up getting my hair cut even shorter than my normal cut. It's pixie-ish now and doesn't look too bad I don't think... It actually feels better anyway. (I know I would look prettier with longer hair, but my hair is not thick enough, that has always been the bane of my existence.)
Also the bane of my existence is that Tom will not tell me anything. When he got home from his trip he said "Oh, your hair doesn't look bad." Now what does that mean? So I tried to get him to tell me if it looked better before or this way, and he just keeps saying "I think it looks good BOTH ways, whatever way you like best".
BUT WHAT WAY looks BETTER is what I want him to tell me, and all he says is "BOTH"!!! So fuck that.
I hope you all have a great weekend. I can't wait for our L.A. vacation next week!

First: I'm glad that Guapo is fine.
Next: it sounds like Tom is saying what he thinks. Did you tell him in advance that it didn't look good? Sometimes you just have to take guys at face value, and go to your girl friends for the kinds of questions you're asking.
Plus, I'll bet it looks fantastic short!
I'm glad to hear that Guapo is feeling better :) I'm sure that Tom is telling you the truth. I agree with Violet. It's like asking, "would you love me if I gained 50lbs?" And you get the "I'd love you no matter what". On one hand it's a totally bogus answer, but on the other hand you hope it's the truth :) I'm sure you look fabulous, so don't sweat it :)
Glad Guapo is doing well! And as far as the hair thing goes...don't sweat it. Just do what YOU are comfortable with. That is what matters most, right? xoxo
I wouldn't worry about what Tom said. He's probably just thinking that it wouldn't help to tell you it looked better before (if that's what he thinks) since your hair's already been cut.
Besides, I think you have the right frame to pull off a pixie cut. I, on the other hand, would look like a prison guard.
